About Us
Carole Autrey
Carole has been in the senior industry for many years. She is the President and co-owner of Senior Care Associates, LLC. For the past 17 years her main focus has been assisting our aging seniors with care and end of life planning. Always looking at what programs federally and state wide are available to assist with our senior’s care expenses.
Before Senior Care Associates, she ran a personal care agency called TLC In Home Care. This was very rewarding and she loved working personally with the seniors and their families. TLC was sold and she moved on to create Senior Care Associates because she felt there was a need to get information and help to families.
Carole’s main emphasis is dealing with our veteran’s and their spouse’s. Her expertise with VA Aid and Attendance pension has helped thousands of war time Veterans and their surviving spouses obtain additional funds from the VA to assist with their care expenses. She assists with the VA application process all over the country.
Her father and mother were both WWII Veterans. Her father served in the Army Air Corp. He was captured by the Japanese in the Philippines and was a POW for 3 years. He was later recalled to serve in the Korean conflict and contracted Polio. Carole’s mother was also an veteran, serving as a Navy Wave.
Carole is a graduate of Brigham Young University. She is married to Dennis Autrey who works with her and they together have 31 grandchildren. She loves to travel and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Dennis Autrey
Dennis Autrey has worked in the Senior Industry for the past 17 years. He is currently the Sales and Marketing Director for Senior Care Associates LLC.
Dennis’s background in the Senior Industry began with TLC In Home Care in the Seattle area. After TLC was sold, he realized he had a passion for helping families answer the questions related to aging. Shortly thereafter he moved on to work for “A Place for Mom” which is an online referral agency assisting families in locating Independent, Assisted Living and Home Care for their loved ones. He also worked with Dignity Home Health and Hospice, Wellington Assisted Living and then onto Senior Care Associates. Each job prepared Dennis with the experience and knowledge to direct the families who reach out to him. Providing them with the information that families are so in need of.
Dennis specializes in speaking with families of war time Veterans and their spouses to determine if they may be eligible for the VA Aid and Attendance pension. Dennis has spoken with thousands upon thousands of families and there is one question in common, “Can you help me understand all the things there are to caring for my mom and dad?” Whether he can give advice to help them get Aid and Attendance or not, Dennis enjoys giving direction to the children for their aging parents. Dennis and his wife Carole presently are caring for their own mother in their home and can truly relate with what families are dealing with.
Many of Dennis’s family members have served in the military. His Uncle Bill Autrey served as a sergeant in the Army during WWII along with his Aunt Marjorie Autrey who worked in the Pentagon. His cousin Jerry Gregson was in the Army during Vietnam as a tank driver. His father, Tom Autrey served aboard the USS McKean destroyer in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. His father-in-law, Dennis Rohlfing served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and was captured by the Japanese in the Philippines. He spent 3 years as a POW. His mother-in-law served as a Navy Wave during WWII. Their example and sacrifice have prepared Dennis to be a more understanding and compassionate person in assisting our Veterans. We deeply appreciate their service.
Dennis works with his wife Carole who together have 12 children and 31 grandchildren. Managing birthdays, trips to see family, grandchildren, and camping are the highlights of his life.
